For some considerable time he had been ailing in health, and only on Thursday he had been picking beans in the garden, but taking ill on this occasion he was confined to bed for only two days, when peacefully he passed away. Deceased was born in Fairy Meadow (his father being a native of N.S.W. also), and except for a number of his boyhood years, the whole of his life was spent in the South Coast district. For many years he was partner with the late Mr. J. S. Kirton as contractors at South Bulli. Of kindly disposition, he was well known and respected throughout the district. Mrs. Rosina Spinks, wife of the deceased, is also a native of the Coast, living here the whole of her life, and throughout their married life the couple had never at any time been apart from each other. Mrs. Spinks and the family mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. The family of deceased are well known, Messrs.
