Description

Both Ron and Judy knew each other from the time they were born, they lived in Morven for most of their lives, they both attended the Morven Public School.
When Judy left school at the age of 14 years she worked for the Cottrell family at Mountain Creek as a nanny to their children. At the age of 14 years, Ron began work with his father Morell Brown as fencing contractors, camping out in the bush until the work had been completed. In later years he worked as a farm hand, then a fettler on the railway, before he joined the outdoor staff of the Culcairn Shire Council in 1958. Ron and Judy were a devoted couple and loving caring parents.
Ron died in the Culcairn Hospital on the 12th May, 1965 he was 55 years old, Judy remained living in the family home in Henty Street, Morven devoting herself to her family. Judy died in the Culcairn Hospital on 10th February 1996, she was 81 years old. Both Ron and Judy are buried in the Culcairn cemetery.
